Scrub Hill 1869
SCRUB HILL, a district of rich farmland amongst picturesque volcanic hills, halfway between Daylesford and Ballarat in Victoria. In 1869 the locals commissioned a Bluestone Church forming the heart of the community until 2015.
Fronting Scrub Hill on 1.25 acres, an old Himalayan Cedar tree shades a quadrangle flanked by the Bluestone Church and Sunday School (original Dean church c1879), evoking an English countryside ambiance.
To the west a backdrop of 40 year old pine trees and an elm tree garden where you can wander and watch the sunset and birdlife around the neighbouring farm dam.
Fully restored to highlight the Bluestone Church’s original features. The green diamond leadlight windows shine in the afternoon sun, glowing against the walnut ceiling beams and the baltic pine floor. Hydronic heating and NBN are the modern comforts of a venue ready for your imagination.
Inside the Sunday School you can feel the history, timber tongue and groove paneled walls and ceiling – l
Clunes Town Hall
The Clunes Town Hall and Court House is a striking and eclectic municipal building design by Percy Oakden, and a rare rural example of a combined Court House and Town Hall.
Built in 1872-3 the distinctive Victorian free Classical style building reflects the civic pride of a gold town at the peak of its prosperity, with many original period features intact. The hall is regularly used to events, meetings and functions. Visit during the Booktown festival and enjoy an event in the spectacular hall. Why not book the space for your next function?
The venue is available for hire for weddings, celebrations, fundraising events and other functions. For bookings or further information contact The Warehouse - Clunes on 03 5321 6131.

Heart of the Horse
Meditation, Mindfulness & Chai with Heart of the Horse.
I have just released the winter dates for group sessions practicing in mindfulness and meditation whilst sipping on chai in the presence of the herd at Heart of the Horse.
Saturday 8th June (Long Weekend)
Saturday 24th August
We will sit by the fire, ground our energy, tune into our bodies and immerse ourselves in horse wisdom to help us navigate our modern lives. You will get to plenty of time to be with the horses and experience their presence in this most unique way.
You will love these sessions if you are curious how healing with horses works. Perhaps, you have been looking for new tools or resources to support yourself in your day to day life. Maybe just the idea of being out in nature in the presence of these magnificent sentient beings is attractive to you.
What a beautiful way to spend a Saturday afternoon to regroup or reset your week - bring a friend, perhaps a teen or come alone and meet some like-minded people.
