Wombat Forest Vineyard

Our family owned vineyard established in 1997 is nestled on the edge of the Wombat State Forest with its rich diversity of bird and animal life all of whom are partial to grapes. An elevation of 600 metres, abundant natural springs and rich volcanic soil, all combine to create a unique niche for viticulture and wombats. Our wine displays classic, cool climate characteristics derived from an extended ripening period. Our grapes are hand pruned and picked and our reds are matured in French Oak. We have a cosy tasting room and courtyard with extensive views of the Wombat Forest. We pride ourselves on using environmentally friendly practices.
