Ozact Theatre Company presents, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Shakespeare’s tale of magic, mischief and love in the beautiful Williamstown Botanic Gardens one of Victoria’s earliest Botanic Gardens, with its spectacular palm avenue, ornamental lake, exotic trees, sweeping lawns, and colourful floral borders – an ideal location for a Shakespearean outing. 

Trouble arises in Athens, when young lovers Hermia and Lysander flee from Duke Theseus’s justice. In hot pursuit are Demetrius, who is in love with Hermia, and Helena who is in love with Demetrius. Chaos!

In the forest, the lovesick foursome encounters the chaotic fairy Puck whose penchant for mischief goes a little too far! Fairy King, Oberon is unhappy with his fairy Queen, Titania.  This contest of wills is just too much for a poor group of amateur actors who fall victim to their magic!
