A sweet celebration of community and creativity. The Lyonville Bake Off is more than just a baking competition. Throughout the day, you can enjoy a variety of refreshments, including Devonshire teas, light lunches, and barista coffee. After the winners are announced, the competition cakes will be available for purchase, so you can take a piece of the day’s deliciousness home with you. This year, they're offering six competition categories to showcase your baking prowess: Kids (12 and under), Decorated Cakes, General Cakes, Cupcakes and Slices, Tarts and Pies, and Special Dietary. Whether you’re a seasoned baker or just starting out, there’s a category for everyone to shine. Each entry will be judged and the winner of each category will receive a ribbon and a prize valued at $50 or more.
